Interior Wall Wraps
There is so much that can be done to a wall using different types of wall coverings. Not only can we print a full color design and install it, but we can also die cut vinyl wall decals. Using the combination of both methods can lead to beautiful results, as well as can be a cost-cutting maneuver as well. Most of the walls that we cover are interior walls, and there is really no limit to the size of the project we will take on.
Vinyl Wall Wraps
Vinyl wall wraps are a joy to produce and install. Bring your room to life with a colorful vinyl wall wrap. Using a strategically placed wall wrap for an accent wall, you can impress your visitors by creating your own ambience in the room.
Our production people will take your artwork and crop it into printable panels for proper installation. Our print panels can be as wide as 50” and as tall as you like. Using multiple panels of wall vinyl, our installers will piece together your custom wall covering. We always add the standard one inch of overlap between panels.
Vinyl Wall Decals
We custom cut vinyl wall lettering out of both solid color materials and full color printed vinyl. Cut vinyl wall lettering can be used for inspirational quotes and more. Call us to bring your vision to life. We are fully capable of file assistance / setup for vinyl wall coverings.
Barricade Walls
Barricade graphics need to be installed during the renovation of many types of retail locations. Commonly seen at malls and airports – these barricade walls are meant to block the public’s view of a construction site underway.
Let us know when you need barricade graphics printed and installed, we’re ready to go!
Preparing Your Walls
Please note: Our interior wraps require a nice gloss or semi gloss finished surface for proper adhesion. Our materials will generally not stick to raw sheetrock, uncoated plywood, or matte / dull finishes. Getting a new wall wrap installed sometimes also includes re-painting your old wall. For maximum life and best installation result, your walls should be properly prepped before installing.
Custom Wall Murals
One of the best benefits for an interior wall mural is the length of life you can get out of it. When properly cared for, your mural will last for many years into the future. Although the life of the material can last for ages, we carry many removable solutions as well. Removable wall vinyl is suitable for a temporary display, and can also last for a very long time when installed properly.
Exterior Wall Wraps
Building wraps are amazing. Breathe life into most exterior surfaces including brick, stucco, concrete and more. Generally we recommend the matte finish to keep down reflection in the sun. Wall wraps are a modern way to add expression or other types of media in a very big way. There are many things to consider regarding your wall wrap. Please reach out with your mural projects, and here are a few other things to consider:
Protective Laminate for your Print:
All of our wrap material is laminated for extra durability. This protective coating will add scratch resistance and also adds a protective barrier to your print so you can clean it when needed. We never wrap a wall without this coating because exposed inks will wear out more quickly than necessary.
For almost all materials available, we have a flat and a gloss finish option. You may choose whichever finish you like best, however we normally nudge people towards flat finish. We like the non glare finish that you see on flat walls. This ensures your designs will not wash out in a reflection of light.
Considerations for your wrap project:
- Height and Width: Estimates for printing and for installation are calculated by total area, in square feet. Knowing the height and width will let us calculate your estimate, and know if lift equipment will be needed.
- Access Level: How much space are we working with? Do we have the room to get a scissor lift into the building? Do we need special key cards or codes to access the site?
- Installation Time: How much time do we have to install your mural? Can you share your ideal completion date?
- How long will the mural be up? Having this information will help us determine the best material for your application. Will we be removing the mural?
- Production of the artwork: Do you have an in-house designer? Do you need help producing the artwork? Lastly: We take care of the pre-production of your files so that our panels are printed just the way we want them.
- Permits Required: We can assist you with producing documents, however we do not directly apply for permits with the city.
Frequently Asked Questions:
According to 3M, a wrap will not mess up your paint, but we’ve found that it really depends on the quality of your paint job. If your wall was properly premiered and painted with a quality paint, the wrap will remove nicely. If there is no primer, or if low grade paint was used, removing the wall wrap can also remove your paint with it.
We only recommend mild soaps and non-abrasive tools to clean the wrap. We recommend only use soft sponges, micro-fiber towels, and mild dish or hand soap. Wash with medium pressure to avoid scuffing of the laminated finish.
If you have a vinyl wrap, nothing will happen to it if you get it wet. The vinyl material is unlike wall paper because it is a polymer rather than a paper. We don’t want you to just leave water all over your wrap, but nothing bad happens when cleaning.
The longer your leave your wrap installed, the more aggressively it will adhere to the wall. Over too much time, your wrap will almost certainly bring the paint off with it when it’s time for removal.
This answer has a lot of variables to it. Wall wraps are priced by the square foot over all. The square foot price is determined by the type of material you need. As well as printing costs, there is also a square foot installation rate which will be added on top of the printing costs.
